Humming Bird Feeder

We put out our Humming Bird Feeder today. I am so excited to see the Humming Birds this year. Did you know that red dye causes Humming Birds to get cancer. You should not use red dye instead you should use a red Humming Bird Feeder. Have you seen any Humming Birds this year?

I had no idea that red dye causes cancer, it's also a huge mess! I've seen quite a few hummingbirds this year in Northern California. They are so dainty and cute!

My goodness I did not know that! Thanks so much for the info, I would never want to harm such delicate, joyful, little creatures!

Hello ~ I'm actually answering a comment you left on my blog back in early April ~ it was about my beloved LH Doxie Duncan...
I just wanted to let you know how much I appreciated your kind words.
Duncan went to the Rainbow Bridge the next evening ~
We will be getting a new LH puppy on May 29th ~ there are pix on my blog ~
Thanks again for your kindness ~

OH my gosh I didn't know about the red dye. I haven't done that in years, since we have flowers that attract and feed them. Thanks for the information.

Oh how I love to get buzzed by a humming bird! I absolutely will go out and get a feeder, or even look for one on Etsy!

I love your spacious view and arbor!

Thanks for sharing that info with us. I never knew, but I must say I'm not surprised. My hummingbird feeder is made with red plastic too (although we haven't put it out yet). I saw my first hummingbird of the season yesterday. I'm hoping to get a picture of it in the next few days since it should be coming around frequently as our crabapple tree will be flowering.
